The New Birchfield Hotel is a family run hotel occupying a prime position on Weston’s beautiful seafront. It was purchased by the family in 2005 and has since undergone extensive refurbishment to bring all areas up to an excellent standard.
At The New Birchfield Hotel we can accommodate approximately 60 guests in a selection of single, double, twin or family rooms, all prepared to a high standard offering full en-suite facilities, direct-dial telephones, digital flat screen televisions, hair-dryers and hospitality tray.
For your comfort the hotel also has a new six person passenger lift with many rooms offering level access from the lift.
At the hotel we pride ourselves on our superb meals which our served in our Knightstone Restaurant which offers fantastic sea views.
All our meals are freshly prepared and our extensive menu which combines the best of both traditional and modern cooking.
The hotel has a fully licensed and well stocked bar where you will find nightly entertainment including live musical shows by one of our many professional entertainers.
For those guests who prefer a quieter form of relaxation we have an elegant and spacious first floor lounge, leading to the sun terrace which has superb views over Weston Bay.
The lounge has a small library, board games, large television and is the perfect place to enjoy afternoon tea.
The New Birchfield Hotel enables you to explore the natural and man-made wonders of the Mendips, with its famous caves and Cheddar Gorge, the enchanting village of Wookey Hole, the tiny City of Wells and its magnificent Cathedral, Bath with its ancient Roman Baths, Georgian architecture and antique shops and Glastonbury with its haunting ruins steeped in historical legend and fantasy.
